Description
This camp was designed as a highly practical training experience for ambitious players rated 1400–1900, with the entire focus on positional play. GM Goloshchapov independently analyzed participants’ games, selecting the most instructive positional episodes that players at this level typically face in their own games. These games were then thoroughly discussed during the camp sessions, with special attention given to typical positional patterns and practical decision-making.
Special attention was given to common positional mistakes at the 1400–1900 level and to systematic methods for avoiding them through better understanding and strategic thinking.
