Description
This camp was designed as a highly practical training experience for ambitious players rated 1400–1900, who struggle to understand when to take the initiative and how to turn it into a real attack. GM Goloshchapov independently analyzed participants’ games, selecting the most instructive episodes on initiative and attack that players at this level typically face in their own games. These games were then thoroughly discussed during the camp sessions, with special attention given to attacking patterns and practical decision-making.
Special attention was given to common mistakes at the 1400–1900 level and to systematic methods for avoiding them through better understanding and dynamic thinking.
